O Allah, guide us to the straight path. O Allah, show us the truth as truth and grant us the ability to follow it, and show us falsehood as falsehood and grant us the ability to shun it.
Allahumma ihdina sirata al-mustaqim. Allahumma arinal haaqqa haqqan warzuqna ittiba'ahu, wa arinal batila batilan warzuqna ijtinabahu.

Virtues & Benefits
This dua is a shield against deception. By asking Allah to reveal the truth and falsehood, we seek divine assistance in navigating a complex information landscape. It cultivates intellectual honesty and spiritual clarity, enabling us to make sound judgments based on facts and righteousness. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to seek Allah's guidance in all matters, and this includes protecting ourselves from harmful ideologies and misrepresentations that can lead the Ummah astray. Allah says in the Quran: "And indeed, Allah knows what they conceal and what they declare. Indeed, He does not like those who consider others equal to Him [in worship]." (Al-Baqarah 2:233) This verse reminds us of Allah’s knowledge and His dislike for deceit, underscoring the importance of seeking truth.
