بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، تَوَلَّجْنَا بِاللَّهِ، آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ، تَوَكَّلْنَا عَلَى اللَّهِ، لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ فِي سَفَرِنَا هَذَا الْبِرَّ وَالتَّقْوَى، وَمِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا تَرْضَى، اللَّهُمَّ هَوِّنْ عَلَيْنَا سَفَرَنَا هَذَا وَاطْوِ لَنَا بُعْدَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الصَّاحِبُ فِي السَّفَرِ، وَالْخَلِيفَةُ فِي الأَهْلِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ وَعْثَاءِ السَّفَرِ، وَكَآبَةِ الْمَنْظَرِ، وَسُوءِ الْمُنْقَلَبِ فِي الْمَالِ وَالأَهْلِ، وَإِذَا رَجَعَ قَالَهُنَّ وَزَادَ فِيهِنَّ: آيِبُونَ، تَائِبُونَ، عَابِدُونَ، لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ
In the name of Allah, we set off relying on Allah, believing in Allah, trusting in Allah. There is no might nor power except with Allah. O Allah, we ask You in this journey of ours for righteousness and piety, and for such deeds as are pleasing to You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us, and make its distance short for us. O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Guardian of the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of the journey, the sorrowful sight, and from bad turns in property and family. And when returning, he would say these words and add to them: We are returning, repentant, worshipping, and to our Lord, we are thankful.
Bismil-lah, tawallajna bil-lah, aamanna bil-lah, tawakkalna 'alal-lah, la hawla wa la quwwata illa bil-lah. Allahumma inna nas'aluka fi safarina hadhal-birra wat-taqwa, wa minal-'amali ma tarda. Allahumma hawwin 'alayna safarana hadha, watwi lana bu'dahu. Allahumma antas-sahibu fis-safari, wal-khaleefatu fil-ahl. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min wa'tha'is-safari, wa ka'abatil-mandhari, wa su'il-munqalabi fil-mali wal-ahl. Wa idha raja'a qalahunna wa zaada feehinna: Aayiboona, taa'iboona, 'aabidoona, li Rabbina hamidoon.
