O Allah, we ask You to rectify for us our religion, which is the protection of our affair; and to rectify for us our world, in which is our livelihood; and to rectify for us our Hereafter, to which is our return. And make life an increase for us in all good, and make death a rest for us from all evil. O Allah, we seek refuge in You from the vanishing of Your blessings, and the change of Your well-being, and the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure. O Allah, we ask You for steadfastness in the affair, and resolve in guidance, and we ask You to enable us to be grateful for Your blessings and to worship You well. And we ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. We ask You for the good that You know, and we seek refuge in You from the evil that You know. We seek Your forgiveness for what You know, indeed You are the Knower of the unseen.

Virtues & Benefits
This dua encapsulates a profound request for both spiritual and worldly well-being, which inherently includes the health of the environment we inhabit. By asking Allah to 'rectify our world in which is our livelihood,' we are essentially seeking His blessing and protection over the resources and systems that sustain us, including a healthy environment. The supplication against 'the vanishing of Your blessings, and the change of Your well-being' can encompass the loss of natural resources and the degradation of the ecosystems that Allah has provided. Furthermore, asking for 'steadfastness in the affair' and 'resolve in guidance' can empower us to be better stewards of the Earth, acting in accordance with Allah's commands to maintain balance and avoid corruption.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to supplicate with the following words: Allahumma inna nas'aluka huda wa tuqa wal-'afafa wal-ghina. (O Allah, we ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency). And another supplication he used to make was: Allahumma inna nas'aluka al-jannah wa ma qarraba ilayha min qawlin aw 'amalin, wa na'udhu bika min an-nar wa ma qarraba ilayha min qawlin aw 'amalin. (O Allah, we ask You for Paradise and whatever draws us to it of speech or action, and we seek refuge in You from the Fire and whatever draws us to it of speech or action). Then he taught us a comprehensive dua: Allahumma inna nas'aluka an tusliha lana deenana allathi huwa 'ismatu amrina, wa an tusliha lana dunyana allathi fiha ma'ashuna, wa an tusliha lana akhiratana allati ilayha ma'aduna, wa an taj'ala al-hayata ziyadatan lana fi kulli khairin, wa an taj'ala al-mawta rahatan lana min kulli sharrin. (O Allah, we ask You to rectify for us our religion, which is the protection of our affair; and to rectify for us our world, in which is our livelihood; and to rectify for us our Hereafter, to which is our return.
