Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would often say: 'O Changer of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion (Ya Muqallibal-qulub, thabbit qalbi 'ala dinik).' So I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! We have believed in you and in what you have brought. Do you fear for us?' He said: 'Yes, for indeed the hearts are between two fingers of Allah's fingers, He turns them about as He wills.'" — Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2140
