O Allah, indeed we seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all of Your displeasure. O Allah, indeed we seek refuge in You from the severe trials, the attainment of misery, the evil of destiny, and the rejoicing of enemies. O Allah, Controller of the hearts, turn our hearts towards Your obedience.

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): He said, 'The Messenger of Allah ๏ทบ never used to omit these supplications when evening came and when morning came: 'O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in my religion and my worldly affairs, for my family and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my weaknesses and make me feel secure from my fears. O Allah, protect me from in front of me, from behind me, from my right, from my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your magnificence from being killed from beneath me.' (Then he said: 'And I seek refuge in Allah from being killed from beneath me.') And when evening came, he would say: 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all of Your displeasure. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the severe trials, the attainment of misery, the evil of destiny, and the rejoicing of enemies.
