For the Ummah
Sahih HadithThis is a composite dua, drawing from the general supplications taught by the Prophet ﷺ and Quranic principles. The wording is crafted to invoke Allah's mercy and protection, reflecting the spirit of numerous authentic duas. The final portion is from the Quran.

O Allah, I ask You by Your mercy which encompasses all things, that You forgive me and have mercy on these children, and that You suffice them from the evil of this world and the hereafter, and that You make them a coolness of the eyes for their families and for our Ummah. O Allah, be their Guardian and Helper, and provide them with Your protection and care, and make them among Your righteous servants. Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter and save us from the punishment of the Fire.

Allahumma inni as'aluka birahmatikallati wasi'at kulla shay'in an ta'fuwa 'anni wa tarhama ha'ula'il atfal, wa an takfiyahum sharra dunya wal akhirah, wa an taj'alahum qurrata 'aynin li'ahlihim wa li ummatina. Allahumma kun lahum waliyyan wa naseeran, warzuqhum hifdhaka wa kanafak, waj'alhum min 'ibadik as-salihīn. Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanah wa fil-akhirati hasanah wa qina 'adhaban-nar.

Virtues & Benefits

Making dua for others, especially the vulnerable, is a highly rewarded act in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "The dua of a Muslim for his brother in his absence is answered. An angel is appointed to his side; whenever he [the Muslim] makes a beneficial prayer for his brother, the angel says: Ameen, and may the like thereof be for you." (Sahih Muslim 2184). By praying for orphans, we are embodying the care the Prophet ﷺ himself showed towards them, fulfilling a profound aspect of our faith.
