اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الصَّاحِبُ فِي السَّفَرِ، وَالْخَلِيفَةُ فِي الأَهْلِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ وَعْثَاءِ السَّفَرِ، وَكَآبَةِ الْمَنْظَرِ، وَسُوءِ الْمُنْقَلَبِ فِي الْمَالِ وَالأَهْلِ.
O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Successor in the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of the journey, the sorrow of seeing (unpleasant sights), and the bad outcome in wealth and family.
Allahumma anta as-sahibu fis-safari wal-khaleefatu fil-ahli. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min wa'tha'is-safari, wa ka'abatil-mandhari, wa sue'il-munqalabi fil-mali wal-ahli.

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say, when he embarked on a journey: 'Allahumma anta as-sahibu fis-safari wal-khaleefatu fil-ahli.
