أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ

I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.

When to Read

This powerful dua is recommended to be recited when encountering any potential harm, including encountering dangerous animals, especially when traveling through unfamiliar territories like deserts or forests where such encounters might be more probable. A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, 'O Allah's Messenger! I have been stung by a scorpion during the night.'
