Dua for a Trustworthy Guide When Traveling

Travel
Sahih HadithSahih Muslim 1342

O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Successor among the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of travel, and the sorrow of the scene, and the evil of the return in wealth and family. O Allah, make our journey reach its goal for us, suffice us from expenses, make the earth easy for us, provide us with provisions, and strengthen us against the misfortunes of time.

Allahumma anta as-sahibu fis-safari, wal-khaleefatu fil-ahli. Allahumma innee a'udhu bika min wa'tha'is-safari, wa ka'abatil-manzari, wa soo'il-munqalabi fil-mali wal-ahli. Allahumma-qdi lana fi safarina hadha al-ghayata, wakfina al-ma'unata, wa dhallil lana al-arda, waj'al ma'ana az-zada, wa qawwina 'ala nawa'ibi ad-dahr.
