اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هَذِهِ السَّفَرِ وَخَيْرَ مَا فِيهِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ هَذِهِ السَّفَرِ وَشَرِّ مَا فِيهِ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بَرَّهَا وَتَقْوَاهَا وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ مَا فِيهَا.
O Allah, I ask You for the good of this journey and the good of what is in it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this journey and the evil of what is in it. O Allah, I ask You for its righteousness and its piety, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of what is in it.
Allahumma inni as'aluka khayra hadhihis-safari wa khayra ma fihi wa a'udhu bika min sharri hadhihis-safari wa sharri ma fihi. Allahumma inni as'aluka birraha wa taqwaha wa a'udhu bika min sharriha wa sharri ma fiha.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to teach them that when they set out on a journey, they should say: 'Allahumma inni as'aluka khayra hadhihis-safari wa khayra ma fihi wa a'udhu bika min sharri hadhihis-safari wa sharri ma fihi. Allahumma inni as'aluka birraha wa taqwaha wa a'udhu bika min sharriha wa sharri ma fiha.'
