‘Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: When any person among them complained of illness, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would rub the place of pain with his hand and say the Dua. Some of them were weakened and their deeds were cut off (died). I said to him: 'O Messenger of Allah, why don't you seek medical treatment?' He said: 'O slaves of Allah, use medical treatment, for Allah has not made a disease without appointing a cure for it, except for one disease (old age).' Sahih Muslim 2204. The specific wording for healing is found in Sahih al-Bukhari.
