O Allah, I ask You for its (the place) goodness, the goodness of its people, and the goodness of whatever is in it. And I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil of its people, and the evil of whatever is in it.

Allahumma inni as'aluka khayraha wa khayra ahliha wa khayra ma fiha, wa a'udhu bika min sharriha wa sharri ahliha wa sharri ma fiha.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'When any one of you travels and stays in a place, he should say: Allahumma inni as'aluka khayraha wa khayra ahliha wa khayra ma fiha, wa a'udhu bika min sharriha wa sharri ahliha wa sharri ma fiha.'
