โœฆ

O Allah, I ask You for the goodness of this journey and the goodness of what it contains, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this journey and the evil of what it contains, and I seek refuge in You from the hardships of travel and the evil consequences upon my family and property upon returning.

Allahumma inni as'aluka khayra hadhihis-safari wa khayra ma fihi wa a'udhu bika min sharri hadhihis-safari wa sharri ma fihi wa a'udhu bika min wa'tha'is-safari wa su'il-munqalabi fil-mali wal-ahl

Source & Authentication

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that when the Messenger of Allah (๏ทบ) mounted his camel for the journey, he would glorify Allah three times, and then say: 'Glory be to Allah. I have submitted myself to Allah. Allah is the Greatest. I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of this journey, and from the evil of what is in it, and from the evil of that which we are to face and traverse. O Allah, the Knower of the unseen and the Seen, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of all things and their Sovereign, I beseech You to grant me goodness in the present and in the future, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of the present and the evil of that which is to come. O Allah, indeed I ask You for goodness in this journey and the goodness of what it contains and the goodness of the deed that will be done on it. I seek refuge in You from the evil of this journey and the evil of what it contains and the evil of the deed that will be done on it. O Allah, make my mount useful to me, and make my return swift. I seek refuge in Allah from the hardship of the journey, and from the evil of the return, and from the evil sights in my family and my property and my meeting.' Then he would say: 'O Allah, You are my Companion on the journey and my Successor among my family. O Allah, keep me company on the journey and protect my family. O Allah, shorten the distance for us and make this journey easy for us.'
