O Allah, bless our provision and make it lawful, abundant, pure, and good, and make it a means for the expansion and growth of our work.
Allahumma barik lana fi arzaqina waj'alhu halalan kathiran tayyiban tahiran, waj'alhu sababan li tawassu'i 'amalina wa nama'ihi.
When to Read
This dua is particularly beneficial to recite at the inception of a new business partnership, before commencing major projects, or whenever seeking increased blessings and growth in an existing venture. It can be recited daily before starting work or in the morning after Fajr prayer.
How to Read
Recite with sincerity and conviction, focusing on the intention of seeking Allah's help and guidance for the partnership. Maintain a state of ritual purity (wudu) if possible. It is recommended to raise your hands slightly in supplication, as was the practice of the Prophet ﷺ. You can recite it individually or as a partnership.
Virtues & Benefits
Seeking Allah's blessing (barakah) is central to success in Islam. This dua aims to invite Allah's divine favor upon the partnership's earnings, ensuring they are lawful and pure, which in itself is a great blessing. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 'Three supplications are answered without doubt: the supplication of the oppressed, the supplication of the traveler, and the supplication of a parent for their child.' (Sunan Ibn Majah 3862). While this specific dua is for business, the principle of seeking Allah's blessings in all lawful endeavors is paramount. A lawful and blessed income is a means to fulfill religious obligations and worldly needs peacefully.
