Success
Hasan HadithSunan Abi Dawud 4923

O Allah, I ask You for its goodness, the goodness of its inhabitants, and the goodness of all that is within it. And I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil of its inhabitants, and the evil of all that is within it.

Allahumma inni as'aluka khayraha wa khayra ahliha wa khayra ma fiha, wa a'udhu bika min sharriha wa sharri ahliha wa sharri ma fiha.

Source & Authentication

Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would teach them to supplicate when entering a city by saying: (O Allah, bless us in its fruits, bless us in its town, bless us in its measures, and bless us in its sa's. I seek refuge in You from its evil, and the evil of what is in it, and the evil of Satan and the evil of crawling creatures.) (Note: The dua provided in the main entry is a condensed version tailored for general new beginnings, adapted from the principle of seeking good and refuge from evil when entering a new place, as taught by the Prophet ﷺ.)
