Virtues & Benefits

This comprehensive dua, taught by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, covers the foundational elements of success in any righteous pursuit. Asking for 'beneficial knowledge' ( 'ilman nafi'an) is directly relevant to understanding and accurately representing Islamic heritage. 'Pure provision' (rizqan tayyiban) ensures that your work is free from any unlawful or unethical influences. Most importantly, asking for 'deeds accepted' ( 'amalan mutaqabbalan) is the ultimate goal, as any effort to preserve our history is a form of worship and a trust from Allah. A version of this dua is also found in Sahih Muslim 748, indicating its profound importance.
