O Allah, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and by the domination of men.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min al-'ajzi wal-kasali, wa a'udhu bika min al-jubni wal-bukhl, wa a'udhu bika min ghalabatid-dayni wa qahrir-rijal.

Virtues & Benefits
This dua directly addresses the root causes of procrastination: helplessness (inability to start) and laziness (unwillingness to continue). By seeking refuge in Allah from these, we acknowledge that true strength and motivation come from Him alone. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us this supplication as a shield against these debilitating traits, which can hinder our worldly success and spiritual progress. Overcoming these through Allah's aid leads to greater productivity, peace of mind, and fulfilling our responsibilities.
Source & Authentication
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to seek refuge in Allah from these six things: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min al-'ajzi wal-kasali, wa a'udhu bika min al-jubni wal-bukhl, wa a'udhu bika min ghalabatid-dayni wa qahrir-rijal.' (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from helplessness and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being overwhelmed by debt and by the domination of men.)
