How to Read

Raise your hands as you would during supplication, facing the Qiblah if possible. Begin with praises of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) and send blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Recite this dua with sincerity, focusing on the meaning of each word and the intention of seeking Allah's guidance. It is beneficial to repeat it three times. After reciting, make specific supplications for the innovation and progressive thinking you wish to achieve, asking Allah to grant you the wisdom and ability to implement them for good.

Virtues & Benefits

This comprehensive dua, taught by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), covers the essential elements for a productive and impactful life. Beneficial knowledge ('ilman nafi'an) is the foundation for all good innovation, enabling us to understand what is right and how to achieve it. Goodly provision (rizqan tayyiban) ensures that our efforts are supported by lawful and pure means, allowing us to focus on our tasks without undue worry. Most importantly, acceptable deeds ('amalan mutaqabbalan) are the ultimate goal; it is Allah's acceptance that brings true success and lasting benefit from our innovations and progressive thinking. By asking for these three, we seek a holistic success that pleases our Creator.
