Virtues & Benefits
This powerful dua, taught by our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) when she asked what to say in the morning, encompasses the essence of a successful and accepted worldly pursuit. * **Beneficial Knowledge ('ilman nafi'an):** This ensures the waqf is established and managed with wisdom and sound understanding, avoiding missteps and maximizing its positive impact. * **Goodly Provision (rizqan tayyiban):** This invokes Allah's blessing upon the resources allocated for the waqf, ensuring they are pure, lawful, and sufficient. * **Accepted Deeds ('amalan mutaqabbalan):** This is the ultimate goal – that the waqf itself, and all the effort put into it, is accepted by Allah, earning reward in this life and the hereafter. Establishing a waqf is a continuous act of charity, and seeking its acceptance is paramount.
