When to Read

This powerful dua is perfect for reciting just before you launch your new venture, at the start of each workday, or whenever you feel doubt creeping in. It encompasses the core needs for any endeavor: beneficial knowledge to guide you, pure sustenance to sustain you, and accepted actions that will bring you Allah's pleasure and the success He wills.

How to Read

Recite this dua with sincerity and conviction, ideally after the obligatory prayers or during the times when duas are readily accepted (like between the Adhan and Iqamah, or in the last third of the night). Raise your hands as you make the dua, focusing your heart on Allah. Imagine His vast mercy and power, and trust that He will grant you what is best. Speak to Allah as if you can see Him.

Virtues & Benefits

This dua, taught by our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, is incredibly comprehensive for worldly and otherworldly success. 'Ilman nafi'an' (beneficial knowledge) ensures your decisions are sound and your business practices are ethical. 'Rizqan tayyiban' (pure provision) means seeking sustenance that is lawful and free from doubt or ill-gotten gains, which is a blessing in itself. ''Amalan mutaqabbalan' (accepted deeds) encompasses all your efforts in the business, hoping that Allah accepts them and rewards you for them, both in this life and the Hereafter. Seeking accepted deeds also implies striving for excellence and sincerity in your work.
