The Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ taught that reciting these Surahs (Al-Falaq and An-Nas) is one of the best ways to seek refuge in Allah. This indicates their direct benefit in warding off the harm caused by jealousy and envy, whether directed at you or originating from within you.

โUqbah ibn โฤmir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah ๏ทบ said to me: 'Shall I not teach you the best two Surahs that people recite?' I said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He taught me: 'Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak (Surah Al-Falaq)' and 'Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind (Surah An-Nas).' Then he led the prayer with them. When the prayer was over, he said: 'No one has ever sought refuge with anything like these two.' โ Sunan An-Nasa'i 5441 (Sahih)
