O Allah, guide me and set me aright, and by Your guidance, make me firm, and by Your light, enlighten my heart, and by Your obedience, make my limbs act, and protect me from the evil of the opponents, and employ me in truth as my guide, and cause me to die as a Muslim and join the righteous.

He said: 'The middle of the latter part of the night, and after the obligatory prayers.' Then he mentioned something similar, and then said: 'O Allah, guide me and set me aright, and by Your guidance, make me firm, and by Your light, enlighten my heart, and by Your obedience, make my limbs act, and protect me from the evil of the opponents, and employ me in truth as my guide, and cause me to die as a Muslim and join the righteous.'
