โœฆ

O Allah, I ask You to make his/her heart firm upon Your religion, to inspire him/her with his/her right guidance, to grant him/her patience and certainty, and to turn away from him/her the whispers of Shaytan and the worries of this world.

Allahumma inni as'aluka an tuthabbita qalbah/haa 'ala deenika, wa an tulhimahu/haa rushdah/haa, wa an tarzuqahu/haa as-sabra wal-yaqeena, wa an tasrifa 'anhu/haa waswasatash-shaytani wa humoomad-dunya.

When to Read

When you notice your spouse struggling with self-doubt, feeling overwhelmed, or questioning their faith or purpose. It's a beautiful way to show your support and love, reminding them they are not alone. You can make this dua during your personal worship (like Tahajjud or after prayers) or even gently say it to them when they are receptive.

How to Read

Recite this dua with sincerity and a heart full of compassion for your spouse. Focus on the meaning of each phrase, visualizing Allah's strength enveloping them. Raising your hands in supplication, as is the Sunnah for du'a, can enhance the feeling of earnestness. It's the intention and heartfelt plea to Allah that truly matters.

Virtues & Benefits

This dua seeks Allah's intervention to strengthen your spouse's faith, guide them through difficulties, and shield them from despair. It fosters mutual support and reliance on Allah within the marriage, acknowledging that we all face moments of weakness. The Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ taught us the importance of supplicating for others: 'The supplication of a Muslim for his brother in his absence is readily answered. An angel is by his head, and whenever he supplicates for good for his brother, the angel says: 'Ameen, and for you the like of it.'' (Sahih Muslim 2185). This implies that praying for your spouse's spiritual and emotional well-being carries immense blessings for both of you.
