اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ فِعْلَ خَيْرَاتِ، وَتَرْكَ الْمُنْكَرَاتِ، وَحُبَّ الْمَسَاكِينِ، وَإِذَا أَرَدْتَ فِي خَلْقِكَ فِتْنَةً فَتَوَفَّنِي إِلَيْكَ غَيْرَ مَفْتُونٍ، أَسْأَلُكَ حُبَّكَ، وَحُبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّكَ، وَحُبَّ عَمَلٍ يُقَرِّبُ إِلَى حُبِّكَ
O Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, and to abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. And I ask You not to let me fall into trials. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.
Allahumma inni as'aluka fi'la khayrat, wa tark al-munkarat, wa hubb al-masakin, wa idha aradta fi khalqika fitnah, fa tawaffani ilayka ghayra maftun. As'aluka hubbak, wa hubba man yuhibbuk, wa hubba 'amal yuqarribu ila hubbik.

Tirmidhi narrated: Humaid bin 'Abdur Rahman narrated from Al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah, from An-Numan bin Bashir, from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he said: 'Supplication is beneficial for what has descended and what has not descended, so adhere O slaves of Allah, to supplication.' Then he mentioned a similar narration, and said: 'Hasan Gharib.' Then he narrated from Al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah, from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he said: 'Allah has forbidden for you disobedience to mothers, and burying daughters alive, and He disliked for you [it is said: He disapproved of] idle talk, and asking too many questions, and wasting wealth.' Then he narrated from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he said: 'Allah, I ask You to enable me to do good deeds, and to abandon evil deeds, and to love the poor. And I ask You not to let me fall into trials. I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love of deeds which bring me closer to Your love.' He said: 'This hadith is Hasan Gharib.'
