اللَّهُمَّ اعْصِمْنِي بِقَيْدِ الْإِسْلَامِ، ثُمَّ احْفَظْنِي بِهِ، ثُمَّ لَا تَشُدَّنِي مِنْهُ، ثُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ رِضاً، فَإِنَّهُ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَا إِلَّا ذَلِكَ، وَلَا نَسْتَطِيعُهُ إِلَّا بِكَ، اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِي فِي نَفْسِي، وَفِي سَمْعِي، وَفِي بَصَرِي، وَفِي رُوحِي، وَفِي خَلْقِي، وَفِي خُلُقِي، وَفِي أَهْلِي، وَفِي مَالِي، وَفِي عَمَلِي، ثُمَّ رَضِّنِي بِمَا قَضَيْتَ لَنَا، وَبَارِكْ لَنَا فِيهِ، وَأَعِنَّا عَلَيْهِ، وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا، وَارْحَمْنَا، وَاخْتِمْ لَنَا بِالسَّعَادَةِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فِي سَبِيلِكَ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ عَيْشَنَا عَيْشَ الْمُتَّقِينَ، وَلَا تَجْعَلْهُ شُغْلَ الْفَاسِقِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ آخِرَ كَلَامِنَا شَهَادَةُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، وَاجْعَلْهُمَا شَافِعَيْنِ لَنَا، وَاجْعَلْهُمَا حُجَّةً لَنَا، وَلَا تَجْعَلْهُمَا حُجَّةً عَلَيْنَا، وَأَدْخِلْنَا فِي جَنَّتِكَ، وَزَوِّجْنَا مِنْ حُورِ الْعِينِ، وَأَقِرَّ بِذَلِكَ أَعْيُنَنَا.
O Allah, protect me by the tie of Islam, then preserve me by it, then do not make me deviate from it, then make it a source of Your pleasure. For indeed, we have no knowledge except this, and we cannot achieve it except by You. O Allah, bless me in my soul, my hearing, my sight, my spirit, my creation, my character, my family, my wealth, and my deeds. Then make me pleased with what You have decreed for us, and bless us in it, and help us upon it, and forgive us, and have mercy on us, and bring our end about with happiness and martyrdom in Your cause. O Allah, make our life the life of the muttaqin (the God-fearing), and do not make it the occupation of the fasiqin (the wicked). O Allah, make the last of our words the testimony that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger, and make them intercessors for us, and make them a proof for us, and do not make them a proof against us. And admit us into Your Paradise, and marry us to the wide-eyed houris, and gladden our eyes with that.
Allahumma 'asimni bi qaidil-Islami, thumma ihfadhni bihi, thumma la tashuddani minhu, thumma ij'alhu ridan, fa innahu la 'ilma lana illa dhalika, wa la nastati'uhu illa bika, Allahumma barik li fi nafsi, wa fi sam'i, wa fi basari, wa fi ruhi, wa fi khalqi, wa fi khuluqi, wa fi ahli, wa fi mali, wa fi 'amali, thumma ridhni bima qadayta lana, wa barik lana fihi, wa a'inna 'alayhi, waghfir lana, warhamna, wakh-tim lana bis-sa'adati wash-shahadati fi sabilika, Allahumma ij'al 'ayshana 'ayshal-muttaqin, wa la taj'alhu shughlal-fasiqin, Allahumma ij'al akhiru kalamina shahadatu an la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, wa anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa Rasuluhu, waj'al-huma shafi'ayni lana, waj'al-huma hujjatan lana, wa la taj'al-huma hujjatan 'alayna, wa adkhilna fi jannatik, wa zawwijna min huril-'ayn, wa aqirr bi dhalika a'yunana.

حدثنا علي بن عبد العزيز ، ثنا أبو عمر حفص بن عمر الحوضي ، ثنا يزيد بن إبراهيم ، عن ابن أبي مليكة ، عن عقبة بن الحارث ، قال : صليت مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم العشاء ، فلما انصرف ، قال : " أيكم يأخذ بيد صاحبه فيستغفر له؟ " قال : قلت : أنا ، فأخذ بيدي ، فاستغفر لي ، ثم قال : " ألا تعلم أني ألتمس لجوهر ملكي؟ " فقلت : وما ملكك؟ قال : " ملك في الجنة ، وإنها لمن عظم ما يسأل الله ، وإنها لصلاة ، ثم إن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ، عمد إلى رجل قد صلى ، فدعا له ، ودعا للمرأة التي صلت ، ثم قال : " تعلمون ما قلت؟ " قلت : لا ، قال : " قلت : اللهم اعصمني بقيد الإسلام ، ثم احفظني به ، ثم لا تشدني منه ، ثم اجعله رضاً ، فإنه لا علم لنا إلا ذلك ، ولا نستطيعه إلا بك ، اللهم بارك لي في نفسي ، وفي سمعي ، وفي بصري ، وفي روحي ، وفي خلقي ، وفي خلقي ، وفي أهلي ، وفي مالي ، وفي عملي ، ثم رضني بما قضيت لنا ، وبارك لنا فيه ، وأعنا عليه ، واغفر لنا ، وارحمنا ، واختم لنا بالسعادة والشهادة في سبيلك ، اللهم اجعل عيشنا عيش المتقين ، ولا تجعله شغل الفاسقين ، اللهم اجعل آخر كلامنا شهادة أن لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له ، وأن محمدا عبده ورسوله ، واجعلهما شافعين لنا ، واجعلهما حجة لنا ، ولا تجعلهما حجة علينا ، وأدخلنا في جنتك ، وزوجنا من حور العين ، وأقر بذلك أعيننا " .
