O Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, our Lord and Lord of everything, Cleaver of the seed and the date-stone, Revealer of the Tawrah, the Injeel, and the Furqan, I seek refuge in You from the evil of every evil-doer, the forelock of whom You are seizing. O Allah, You are the First, so there is nothing before You; You are the Last, so there is nothing after You; You are the Most显 ( الظَّاهِرُ - the apparent, the above all), so there is nothing above You; You are the Most Hidden (الْبَاطِنُ - the hidden, the inward), so there is nothing nearer than You. Discharge our debt for us and make us free from want.
Allahumma Rabba as-samawati wa Rabba al-ard, Rabbana wa Rabba kulli shay', faliq al-habbi wan-nawa, wa munzil at-Tawrati wal-Injili wal-Furqan, a'udhu bika min sharri kulli dhi sharri anta akhidhun binasiyatihi. Allahumma antal-awwalu falaysa qablaka shay', wa antal-akhiru falaysa ba'daka shay', wanta adh-dhahiru falaysa fawqaka shay', wantal-batinu falaysa duna ka shay'. Iqdi 'anna daynana wa aghnina min al-faqr.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would go to bed each night, he would cup his hands together, then breathe into them, reciting: 'Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad, and Qul A'udhu bi Rabbil-Falaq, and Qul A'udhu bi Rabbin-Nas.' Then he would wipe with them whatever he could of his body. And when he fell ill, he would order me to do that (recite these Surahs and wipe his body). And when his illness became severe, I would start cupping my hands and reciting these Surahs, and my hand would not reach his body, and I would ask Abu Hurairah to do it. The narrator said: 'Aishah narrated to me that when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was ill with the illness in which he died, he used to recite the two 'Mu'awwidhat' (Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas) and blow. When his illness became severe, I used to recite them and wipe him with his own hand, seeking its blessing.' It was also narrated from him that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to say: 'O Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, our Lord and Lord of everything, Cleaver of the seed and the date-stone, Revealer of the Tawrah, the Injeel, and the Furqan, I seek refuge in You from the evil of every evil-doer, the forelock of whom You are seizing. Discharge our debt for us and make us free from want.'
