In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that You are displeased with. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of suffering, the attainment of misery, the evil of decree, and the rejoicing of enemies. O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion and worldly affairs, my family and my property. O Allah, conceal my weaknesses and secure my fears. O Allah, protect me from before me and from behind me, from my right and from my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your Greatness lest I be swallowed up from beneath me.

Virtues & Benefits
This dua is a profound supplication for complete well-being and protection. By seeking refuge in Allah from the loss of blessings, the change in health, the suddenness of punishment, and His displeasure, we are asking for His continuous favor and mercy. The supplication specifically asks for protection against hardship, misery, bad fate, and enemy gloating, which indirectly aids in overcoming sickness and its associated struggles. Asking for 'Afiyah (well-being and protection from all harm) in this life and the next, and for pardon, covers both physical and spiritual health. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this dua as a means of seeking comprehensive protection, encompassing all aspects of our lives.
Source & Authentication
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to seek refuge with Allah with these words: ‘Allāhumma innī a‘ūdhu bika min zawāli ni‘matihi, wa tahawwuli ‘āfiyatihi, wa fujā’ati niqmatihi, wa jammī‘i sakhaṭihi.’ (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the fading away of Your blessings, the change of Your protection, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all that You are displeased with.) He also taught: ‘Allāhumma innī a‘ūdhu bika min jahdil-balā’i, wa darakish-shaqā’i, wa sū’il-qaḍā’i, wa shamatatil-a‘dā’i.’ (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardship of tribulation, the attainment of wretchedness, the evil of decree, and the rejoicing of the enemies.) And he said: ‘O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion and my worldly affairs, my family and my wealth. O Allah, cover my defects and calm my fears. O Allah, protect me from before me and from behind me, and from my right and from my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your might lest I be consumed from beneath me.’ — Sunan Abi Dawud 1543, graded Hasan.
