‘Uthman b. Abi’l-`As reported: I complained to Allah’s Messenger ﷺ about a pain that I had felt in my body since I had embraced Islam. Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said: Place your hand on the part where you feel pain in your body and say: Bismillah (In the name of Allah) three times, and say seven times: A'udhu bi 'izzatillahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajidu wa uhadhiru (I seek refuge in Allah and His Power from the evil of what I feel and what I fear).
