بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing on Earth or in Heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

Bismillāhilladhī lā yaḍurru maʿasmihi shayʾun fīl-arḍi wa lā fis-samāʾi wa huwas-Samīʿul-ʿAlīm.

When to Read

Recite this dua when experiencing the discomfort of an allergic skin reaction. It can be recited in the morning and evening, as taught by the Prophet ﷺ, as a general protection. You can also place your hand on the affected area while reciting it, seeking Allah's direct intervention.

How to Read

Recite this supplication with sincerity and full conviction in Allah's power to heal. It is recommended to recite it three times in the morning and three times in the evening for general well-being and protection from harm, including allergies. Focus on the meaning and visualize Allah's healing power at work. Placing a hand on the afflicted skin while making dua can enhance the feeling of connection and focus.

Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever says: 'Bismillāhilladhī lā yaḍurru maʿasmihi shayʾun fīl-arḍi wa lā fis-samāʾi wa huwas-Samīʿul-ʿAlīm' (In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing on Earth or in Heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing) - three times, he will not be afflicted by any sudden calamity until morning comes. And whoever says it in the morning three times, he will not be afflicted by any calamity until evening comes." (Sunan Abi Dawud 3869, Sunan Ibn Majah 3548).
