O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your decree concerning me is inevitable, and Your justice concerning me is absolute. I ask You by every name You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my anxieties. And I ask You to grant me chastity and health in my private parts and my offspring, and to set all my affairs right, and not to entrust me to myself for even the blink of an eye.
Allahumma inni 'abduka, ibnu 'abdika, ibnu amatika, nasiyatii biyadika, madin fiyya h-ukmuka, 'adlun fiyya qadaa'uka. As'aluka bikulli ismin huwa laka sammayta bihi nafsaka, aw anzaltahu fi kitābika, aw 'allamtahu ahadan min khalqika, aw ista'tharta bihi fi 'ilm il-ghaybi 'indaka, an taj'ala al-Qur'ana rabī'a qalbi, wa nūra sadri, wa jilā'a huzni, wa dhahāba hammi, wa an tarzuqani al-'iffata wa-s-siḥḥata fi farji wa dhurriyyati, wa an tuṣliḥa li sha'nī kullah, wa la takilnī ilā nafsī ṭarfata 'ain.
When to Read
This comprehensive dua can be recited when one feels unwell, specifically when experiencing issues related to reproductive health, or for general protection. It is particularly potent during times of worry or when seeking overall well-being and divine safeguarding.
How to Read
Recite this dua with sincere conviction, focusing on the meaning of each word. It is recommended to raise your hands in supplication, as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us. Maintain a state of purity (wudu) if possible. Repeat it consistently, especially after the obligatory prayers, and contemplate its powerful request for divine reliance and comprehensive well-being.
Virtues & Benefits
This dua encapsulates a profound request for Allah's (SWT) help in all aspects of life. Specifically for reproductive health, asking for 'health in my private parts and my offspring' (الصحة في فرجي وذريتي - as-siḥḥata fi farji wa dhurriyyati) directly addresses concerns in this sensitive area. By asking Allah to make the Qur'an the 'springtime of my heart' and the 'light of my chest,' it seeks inner peace and clarity, which are essential for managing health challenges. The ultimate reliance on Allah ('not to entrust me to myself') is the core of seeking healing and protection, acknowledging that true well-being comes only from Him.
