The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to supplicate: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal hammi wal hazan, wal 'ajzi wal kasal, wal bukhli wal jubn, wa dala'id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijal.' (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, from weakness and laziness, from cowardice and stinginess, from the burden of debt and the overpowering of men). And he would also say: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal 'ilmid-la yanfa', wa min qalbin la yakhsha', wa min nafsin la tashba', wa min da'watin la yustajabu laha.' (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not fear You, from a soul that is never satisfied, and from a supplication that is not answered).
