اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ، وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ، أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
O Allah, forgive me for what I have done in front and what I have delayed, what I have concealed and what I have done openly. You are the One Who sends forth and the One Who delays. There is no god but You.
Allahumma-ghfir li ma qaddamtu wa ma akhkhartu, wa ma asrartu wa ma a'lantu, Antal-muqaddimu wa Antal-mu'akhkhiru, la ilaha illa Anta.

Al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, teach me something I can ask of my Lord.' He said: 'O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, grant me well-being, and suffice me.' (He paused for a while, then said): 'Indeed, these words contain for you the goodness of this world and the Hereafter.' Another narration: Al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, tell me how I should ask of my Lord.'
