O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all matters, and a firm resolve to follow guidance. I ask You to enable me to be grateful for Your favours and to worship You in the best way. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I ask You for the good You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil I know. I seek Your forgiveness for what You know, indeed You are the Knower of all unseen things.
Allahumma inni as'alukal-thabat fil-amri, wal-'azeemata 'alar-rushdi, wa as'aluka shukra ni'matika, wa husna 'ibadatika, wa as'aluka qalban saleeman, wa lisaanan saadiqan, wa as'aluka min khairi ma ta'lamu, wa a'udhu bika min sharri ma a'lamu, wa astaghfiruka lima ta'lamu innaka anta 'allamul-ghuyoob.
