Narrated Tariq bin Ashyam: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: No servant of Allah initiates a supplication and says: 'O Allah, forgive me, have mercy upon me, guide me, protect me and provide for me' – but that the heavens and the earth are commanded to be closed upon him, and they say: 'We do not know what to do with you.' Then Allah, the Blessed and the High, says: 'Begin with My slave; indeed, I have forgiven him, and I have granted him what he asked for.' So he did not ask for anything but that it was granted to him.
