Virtues & Benefits
This dua directly calls upon Allah's perfect words for protection against various forms of harm, including the 'evil eye' (al-'ayn). The evil eye is a real spiritual ailment that can cause sickness, loss, or misfortune, originating from the envy or admiration of another person's gaze without their conscious intent to harm. By seeking refuge in Allah, we acknowledge that ultimate protection comes only from Him. The Prophet ﷺ himself used this supplication, demonstrating its importance and efficacy.
