Reciting this dua diligently in the morning and evening offers immense protection. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ stated that whoever recites this three times in the morning will not be harmed by anything until evening, and whoever recites it three times in the evening will not be harmed until morning. Yahya related to me from Malik, from Humayd ibn Qaytas, from Mujahid, from Abu Hurayrah that he said: 'A man came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said, "Messenger of Allah, I was stung by a scorpion last night." He said, "As for a sympathiser, you would have said: Had you repeated in the evening: 'I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created' (A'udhu bikalimatillahit-tammati min sharri ma khalaq), it would not have harmed you." - Sahih Muslim 2708
