Yahya related to me from Malik, from Humayd ibn Qaytas, from Mujahid, from Abu Hurayrah that he said: 'A man came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said, "Messenger of Allah, I was stung by a scorpion last night." He said, "As for a sympathiser, you would have said: Had you repeated in the evening: 'I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created' (A'udhu bikalimatillahit-tammati min sharri ma khalaq), it would not have harmed you." - Sahih Muslim 2708
