Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri: Jibril came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'O Muhammad! You are suffering from an illness?' He said, 'Yes.' He said: 'In the name of Allah, I recite Ruqyah for you from all kinds of illness, and from the evil of every jealous person and every eye. May Allah cure you. In the name of Allah, I recite Ruqyah for you.' (Sahih Muslim 2170). The specific wording 'A'udhu bikalimatillahit-tammati min sharri ma khalaq' is also mentioned in Sahih Muslim 2708 as a general protection dua, encompassing the intention for protection against jealousy.
