O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the passing away of Your blessings, and the change of Your protection, and the suddenness of Your punishment, and all that displeases You. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of decree, and the attaining of misery, and the rejoicing of enemies, and the passing away of what is current.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matik, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatik, wa fu'jati niqmatik, wa jami'i sakhatik. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min su'il qada', wa darakish-shaqa', wa shamatatil a'da', wal-huburi fi difqil hal.

Virtues & Benefits

By extension, it protects from adverse fate ('su'ul qada'), deep unhappiness ('darak ash-shaqa'), the joy of adversaries over your downfall ('shamatat al-a'da'), and the fleeting nature of worldly troubles that might offer a false sense of relief ('hubur fi difqil hal'). In essence, it's a holistic shield against spiritual and worldly misfortunes, fostering inner peace and societal harmony by seeking Allah's ultimate control and protection from all that disrupts our faith and well-being.
