O Allah, I ask You for ease in this matter, and a good end, and lawful, pure provision, and beneficial knowledge, and accepted deeds, and a humble heart, and a tongue that remembers You, and beautiful patience, and abundant gratitude, and complete well-being, and blessings in family and wealth, and ample sustenance, and that You make this matter easy, and do not make it difficult.
Allahumma inni as'aluka tayseeran lil-amri, wa husnal-khatimah, wa rizqan halalan tayyiban, wa 'ilman nafi'an, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan, wa qalban khashi'an, wa lisanan dhakiran, wa sabran jameelan, wa shukran katheeran, wa 'afiyatan tammatan, wa barakatan fil-ahli wal-mali, wa rizqan wasi'an, wa an taj'ala al-amra yusran, wa la taj'alhu 'usran.
When to Read
This dua is particularly beneficial during the final month of pregnancy when anticipation, physical discomfort, and emotional shifts are at their peak. Reciting it daily, or even multiple times a day, can bring immense peace and strength.
How to Read
Recite with sincerity and full attention, visualizing Allah's mercy and ease. It's best recited after each prayer, or at any time you feel overwhelmed or in need of strength. Raising your hands is a sign of earnest supplication, though not strictly required for every dua. Imagine you are speaking directly to your Creator, seeking His divine assistance.
Virtues & Benefits
This dua embodies seeking Allah's help for a smooth and blessed delivery, encompassing spiritual and material well-being. It acknowledges the challenges of childbirth and seeks the strength to face them with patience and gratitude. The mention of 'ease' (tayseer) is a recurring theme in the Quran and Sunnah, as Allah says: 'So verily, with the hardship is ease. Verily, with the hardship is ease.' (Quran 94:5-6). The Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ also taught us to ask for ease: 'Give glad tidings to the people, and make them run away (from religion); and make things easy for them, and do not make them run away.' (Sahih Muslim 8:1075). Asking for accepted deeds, humble heart, and remembering tongue are all aspects of righteous living that a mother preparing for new life would certainly desire.
