أُعِيذُكَ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ
I seek refuge for you in the perfect words of Allah, from every devil and every poisonous creature, and from every evil eye.

When to Read
This dua is recited by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ for his grandsons, Hasan and Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them), and it is an excellent supplication for parents to recite for their newborn babies, especially when they are having trouble sleeping, seem restless, or to seek protection for them generally. Recite it gently over your child, perhaps before they sleep, or whenever you feel they need extra comfort and protection.
How to Read
Recite this dua with sincerity and conviction, visualizing Allah's protection surrounding your child. It is recommended to gently place your hand on the child's head or body while reciting. You can also blow gently onto the child after reciting, as was the practice of the Prophet ﷺ with his own children.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to seek refuge for Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn, saying: 'I seek refuge for you both in the perfect words of Allah, from every devil and every beast, and from every envious evil eye.' Then he would say: 'Abraham (peace be upon him) used to seek refuge for his offspring, saying: 'I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah, from every devil and every beast, and from every envious evil eye.' (Sahih al-Bukhari 3371)
