Virtues & Benefits
This powerful dua, found in the Quran and taught by our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, is incredibly encompassing. It asks for 'hasanah' (goodness) in both this world and the Hereafter. For spouses, this translates to seeking Allah's blessings on your marriage, your children, your careers, your health, and your spiritual growth. It acknowledges that true success and well-being are entirely in Allah's hands, and it seeks His protection from the hellfire, the ultimate loss. By seeking this dual goodness, you are essentially asking Allah to align your personal and professional aspirations with His divine will, ensuring that your pursuits lead you closer to Him and to a fulfilling life.
