โAli (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I complained to the Messenger of Allah ๏ทบ about the debt that was owed by me. He said: O โAli, say: O Allah, I ask You for the security which You give to the dwellers of Paradise and to the Prophet Muhammad (๏ทบ), and to the believers, and the forgiveness and the mercy which You have given to the dwellers of Paradise, and the contentment with destiny, and the good life, and the ease of living which You have decreed, and seek refuge in You from what You have decreed, and the evil of what You have decreed, and the disgrace in this world and the punishment in the Hereafter. And he said to him: Recite this dua, and if your debt is as heavy as the mountain of Sir would be, Allah would pay it for you. This is the version transmitted by Tirmidhi. The version of Tirmidhi is: Allahumma-kfini bihalalika 'an haramika, wa aghnini bifadlika 'amman siwak.
