You can also make this dua privately for your own spouse as you build your family.

How to Read

Recite this dua with sincerity and a pure intention for the couple's well-being. It's ideally recited by someone congratulating the couple, but a couple can also recite it together or individually for each other during the early stages of their marriage or anytime they face challenges and need Allah's blessings to unite them in goodness.

Virtues & Benefits

This dua encompasses comprehensive blessings for the couple. 'Barakallahu laka' invokes Allah's direct blessings upon the individual. 'Wa baraka 'alayka' extends those blessings to encompass their lives and everything associated with them. 'Wa jama'a baynakuma fi khairin' is the heart of the dua for a married couple, asking Allah to unite them not just in marriage, but in His obedience, His love, and in all forms of goodness, ensuring their shared journey is filled with righteousness and prosperity. This prayer sets a beautiful Islamic tone for the new family, seeking divine integration and harmony.
