Night Worship & Tahajjud
Sahih HadithSahih Muslim 775

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا

O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provision, and deeds accepted (by You).

Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan

When to Read

This dua is particularly potent when recited during the stillness of Tahajjud. As you stand before Allah in the last part of the night, when the world is asleep and your heart is most receptive, it's the perfect time to earnestly seek these three crucial elements: knowledge that guides you, sustenance that purifies you, and actions that bring you closer to Him.

How to Read

Recite this dua with sincere intention and a heart full of reliance (tawakkul) on Allah. Raise your hands, focus on the meaning of each word, and truly believe that Allah is the One who can grant you these profound blessings. The quiet solitude of Tahajjud amplifies the connection, making your supplication more heartfelt and potent.
