O Allah, forgive me for all my sins, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the apparent and the secret, the near and the far. O Allah, elevate me with knowledge, adorn me with forbearance, turn me towards Taqwa (consciousness of Allah), guide me to righteousness, and protect me from the evil of my own self, and from the evil of every moving creature whose forelock You hold. And from the evil of all, whether little or much. O Allah, place light in my heart, and light in my grave, and light before me, and light behind me, and light on my right, and light on my left, and light above me, and light beneath me. Increase me in light, increase me in light, increase me in light.
Allahumma-ghfir li dhanbi kullahu, diqqahu wa jillahu, awwalahu wa akhirahu, 'alaniyatihi wa sirrahu, qaribahu wa ba'idahu. Allahumma-rf'ani bil-'ilmi, wa zayyini bil-hilmi, wa aqbil 'alayya bit-taqwa, wa saddidni bis-sawabi, wa a'idhni min sharri nafsi, wa min sharri kulli dabbatin anta akhidhun bi-nasiyatiha, wa min sharri kulli shay'in qalilihi wa kathirihi. Allahumma-j'al li nuran fi qalbi, wa nuran fi qabri, wa nuran amami, wa nuran khalfi, wa nuran 'an yamini, wa nuran 'an shimali, wa nuran fawqi, wa nuran tahti, wa zidni nuran, wa zidni nuran, wa zidni nuran.
