اللَّهُمَّ أَلِّفْ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِنَا، وَأَصْلِحْ ذَاتَ بَيْنِنَا، وَاهْدِنَا سُبُلَ السَّلَامِ، وَنَجِّنَا مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ، وَجَنِّبْنَا الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ، وَبَارِكْ لَنَا فِي أَسْمَاعِنَا، وَأَبْصَارِنَا، وَقُلُوبِنَا، وَأَزْوَاجِنَا، وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا، وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
O Allah, unite our hearts, and set right that which is between us. Guide us to the ways of peace, and deliver us from the darkness into the light. Keep us away from all evil, outward and inward. And bless our hearing, our sight, our hearts, our spouses, and our offspring. And turn to us in forgiveness, for You are the Ever-Returning, the Most Merciful.
Allahumma allif bayna quloobina, wa aslih dhata baynina, wahdina subulas-salam, wa najjina minadh-dhulumati ilan-noor, wa jannibnal-fawashima dhahara minha wa ma batan, wa barik lana fi asma'ina, wa absarina, wa quloobina, wa azwajina, wa dhurriyyatina, wa tub 'alayna, innaka Antat-Tawwabur-Raheem.

It was narrated that Ibn Mas'ud said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'No two people who love each other for the sake of Allah, or for the sake of Islam, will be separated after that, except because of a fault from one of them.' Then he recited: '...and He has reconciled between their hearts...' (Al-Anfal 8:63). And it was narrated from Ibn Mas'ud that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to teach them this prayer: 'Allahumma allif bayna quloobina, wa aslih dhata baynina, wahdina subulas-salam, wa najjina minadh-dhulumati ilan-noor, wa jannibnal-fawashima ma dhahara minha wa ma batan, wa barik lana fi asma'ina, wa absarina, wa quloobina, wa azwajina, wa dhurriyyatina, wa tub 'alayna, innaka Antat-Tawwabur-Raheem.' He said: 'And guide us to the ways of peace.' And among the devils are those who are with the Children of Adam. And among the angels are those who are with the Children of Adam. So the devil whispers evil to the Children of Adam, and the angel promises good. And the angel's promise is the truth. And the angel's promise is: '...what is in the breast...' (Qaf 50:18).
