The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to say when he started his prayer: 'Subhanakallahumma wa bihamdik, wa tabarakasmuk, wa ta'ala jadduk, wa la ilaha ghayruk.' (Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You; blessed is Your name, and exalted is Your majesty; and there is no god but You.) And when he concluded his prayer, he would say words similar to this: 'Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman naafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan.'
