اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَقَهْرِ الرِّجَالِ.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the overpowering of men.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazani, wa a'udhu bika minal-'ajzi wal-kasali, wa a'udhu bika minal-jubni wal-bukhli, wa a'udhu bika min ghalabatid-dayni wa qahrir-rijali.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet ﷺ used to invoke Allah during prayer saying: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and from the punishment in the Hell-fire, and I seek refuge in You from the afflictions of the Dajjal, and I seek refuge in You from the afflictions of life and death. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from guilt and from debt. Then a man said: O Allah's Apostle! How good it is to hear from you! The Prophet ﷺ said: What do you think of anything (inquire) if you are in need of it? Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: The Prophet ﷺ used to seek refuge in Allah from the Dajjal, his companions would also say: O Allah's Apostle! We were told that the Dajjal would bring water and fire. The Prophet ﷺ said: That which appears as fire will be water (cold) and that which appears as water will be fire (burning). So do not fall into it.
