Virtues & Benefits

This comprehensive supplication asks for three essential pillars of a fulfilling life: knowledge that benefits, provision that is pure and lawful, and deeds that are accepted by Allah. By seeking these, we align our worldly efforts with our ultimate purpose, hoping for barakah (blessings) in our work and our lives. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught this dua, highlighting its immense value for anyone starting their day with purpose.

Source & Authentication

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'The prayer of a servant of Allah in the morning is as if he is on the threshold of his door, and he is upon the threshold of Allah's door. If he prays (the prayer of dawn) at his door, it is as if he has prayed at the door of the Most Merciful. And whoever prays (the prayer of dawn) at his door, it is as if he has prayed in the House (Ka'bah). And whoever prays in the House, it is as if he has prayed in the heavens.' Then he said: 'O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds.'
