O Allah, send Your blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent Your blessings upon Ibrahim and upon the family of Ibrahim. You are indeed the Praiseworthy, the Glorious. O Allah, send Your protection upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent Your protection upon Ibrahim and upon the family of Ibrahim. You are indeed the Praiseworthy, the Glorious.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 'Do not make my grave a place of festivity (celebration), but send blessings on me wherever you are, for your blessings reach me.' Sahih al-Bukhari 4729. Another narration states: 'The nearest people to me on the Day of Resurrection will be those who invoke blessings on me the most.' (Hasan, Reported by Tirmidhi). The specific wording of the Salat al-Ibrahimiyyah, as found in Sahih al-Bukhari, is the most comprehensive way to send blessings.
